A Few Firsts!

Okay, so I've been perusing all these blogs and challenges for a few weeks and today I woke up and thought I'm going to have to participate...

I first went to 2 Sketches 4 U and decided that would be my starting point. After that, I hopped on over to Daring Cardmakers and figured I could combine their requirement of having hearts as well as Laura's sketch! I did need to make another valentines card for one of my dds so it worked out perfect.
Here it is...

My first sketch challenge, my first cardmaker challenge, my first use of mulberry paper on cards, and my first use of this ribbon I've had for 2 years! :)
I'm not very lucky and don't expect to win anything, but I must say this was so much fun, I'll definitely be back! Thanks to both 2sketches4u and daring cardmakers for inspiring me and giving me an opportunity to play with my goodies and have a wonderful time!

    Cute! It is so great when you can use supplies you've had for a while! And I agree about challenges...they do get you moving in *a* direction if you weren't moving at all. :-)

    Thanks for making the DCM’s dare part of your first great adventure into the challenge world.

    You were obviously keeping that ribbon especially for this ……………it matches perfectly the papers that you’ve used.
    I love the way you’ve framed the little hedgehog too, he’s so cute.
